Care 

Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the velvety leaves.

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil begin to dry. Keep it lightly and consistently moist, but never soggy.

Loves higher humidity—around 60%+ is ideal. Keep away from cold drafts and drying vents.

Prefers warm conditions around 65–85°F.

Give it a chunky, airy, well-draining mix that holds some moisture while allowing the roots to breathe.

Frydeks can slow down or lose a leaf while adjusting to a new home. Give it steady warmth, light, and care—it may simply be making room for its next leaf.
